The Blue Eagle
2021
Barclay Banks was one of my clients in 2013.
You are interesting in hiring for a contract then I will only look at OUTSIDE IR35 engagements and/or statement of work.
During the corona virus pandemic, I have had various enquiries about permanent salary employment, especially over the summer. Many of these enquires were pathetic and entertaining: “remote working until the office s open in London” or “urgent fintech remote until end of the year 2020”. You get the idea.
All I can say, is you are unlikely to beat £101K base for a remote worker in the UK. But if you do believe that you can get my financial reward with attention (no stock idea), then freely get in touch with me to discuss opportunities.

Carry on
Earlier this month of July 2013, I walked through the doors of the Blue Eagle, to help out a client on another contract. Barclays Bank has embarked on a modern digital web platform, which a designed to appeal to online customers. This is not surprising as other banks like RBS and Lloyds have similar initiatives. They have had to embrace new changes in technologies, such as the popularity of HTML5, smart mobile phones and the spurt in tablet computing in order to keep relevancy. In recent years, the banks have hire creative people, artists, designers, user interface designers, software developers and digital agencies to improve their process.
